Lasting Impressions is a camp facility located near Kadoma, Zimbabwe that partners with the national education system to provide children with leadership skills, environmental education, and life skills from a biblical perspective. The camp needed a flexible chapel space to allow for meetings, class instruction, and weddings. The structure was designed as a modern interpretation of the traditional gum pole and thatched construction typical of the region. The large cantilevered crossing gables required the structural engineering services of Bennett and Pless in Chattanooga. The structure was assembled using volunteer labor.
